With CICP, you must pay a co-payment each time you come to Denver Health for medical services or to get a prescription filled. You will not be billed for the remainder of the cost of that service. The amount of this co-payment is based on family size, income, resources and the type of medical care or service being provided.
CICP offers discounts for primary care services, many outpatient specialty care services some exceptions are listed below , inpatient services, emergency room services, medical imaging services and some prescriptions. When you reach your cap, you can get a Cap Card, and then you will not have to pay CICP co-payments for the rest of the calendar year.
