Detroit official motto

The flag was first flown was on June 12, at a celebration for the Detroit Tigers. It was not officially adopted by the city until The flag commemorates the countries that have controlled the city since its founding, divided into four sections.

That might be fine and good for the MDCVB and folks who are deciding whether to book their next event at Cobo Center or at Indiana Convention Center, an Indianapolis equivalent with a similar amount of space, but we're not sure it represents Detroiters as a whole. But still, we think we can find a slogan that represents Detroit more accurately, or at least more humorously, than this latest advertising attempt.
