N8 phoenix
No compatibility mod or nothing. And it shows me all my 5usbs without any issues. Not sure why you have problems with it. Connect your phone to reinstall your drivers. Then turn phoenix back on and try again. Performed a clean install of Phoenix for N8 on my Windows 7 32 bit. There's no folder Program Files x86 on 32 bit system. Phoenix can connect to my phone, but Firmware update dialog cannot find Product Code.
When I press That do the trick. Will perform real flashing when I have more time. Only Problem is, you don't have all the files needed to flash. Go to mr. Two ways: either do a dead flash or you can hardreset the device first , and then do a live flash. Do you want to retry the flashing? Unable to start flashing. I am using win 7x64 Yes i have canged the mode to xpsp3 also disabled antivirus Any other solution..?
Are you using a computer? No hub, no front usb. Are you using the phoenix I posted at the top of the page? Was the phone hacked? Rompatcher patches OFF? Did you try a dead flash? Or hardreset the phone first. I got it working THX for the help I tried it on my brother pc first try success without any problems Thx keep up the good work.
Hello Eric. I tried to flash my Nokia with delight Delight v 1. I installed Phoenix I wanted to do a live flashing not dead phone flash. I also disabled all patches from Rompatcher and even did a hard reset of the phone.
This was my first flashing attempt. Same thing happen when I tried to flash my old N8. Please help. I don't know what is going wrong there. I use a Win7 and run it normally in Win7 mose. Does the phone connect to your computer at all? Is the phone in Nokia Suite connection mode? Yes, the phone does connect to my computer in whatever mode I chose ; I can see it in windows and all drivers are correctly installed ; when flashing the phone was connected in Nokia Suite mode ; yes, I tried a dead flash on my N8, without succes ; on my computer I use windows 7 x64 ultimate, SP 1.
Otherwise it seems you did everything right. OK, I finally managed to make a dead phone flash ; I believe it was a problem with the antivirus ; deactivating Bitdefender is not a straight forward process, au contraire, ; in the end the flashing was possible, but still I wasn't able to do a live flash the necessary information in Product code, SW version and Variant were not there. Maybe you can help me with this, because, in the future, I want to update the firmware. One problem : I didn't like the effects of the theme, so I disabled them, but still screen rotation effect is active ; how could this be deactivated?
Maybe you can put in the download section the original FP 2 theme effects package. Thank You so much for your answers. Hello, I'm a total newbie to flashing. So, apologies if the questions are silly. Should I select my product type on connections drop-down or leave it on "No Connection"? Asking phoenix to detect product automatically does not seem to give me any information.
I'm doing a "Live" flash. After that the dara in the flashing window should automatically load itself , if not choose it manually. I have tried both scan product and open product options.
I do get these when I go in and select the product code mentioned above. Could you please tell me if there is something else I need to do to get Phoenix to read in the missing data? Should I opt for the product code you have provided, instead? Thanks for your quick response, Eric. Should I use the product code that seems to be default for this CFW? Which is the same as choosing the only available product code.
If you get it that way, then that's the way to go ;. Thank you, Eric. I've given the log below. Flashing started Creating product data items list Product data items list created Backup not required Started product mode change Starting to recover the phone Recovering phone Initializing All operations completed Firmware updating failed. It is like a new phone now!!!! Thanks for helping me through.
Get acquainted with the Delight app it can do a lot of good stuff. I'll certainly look into the delight app. I am exploring the phone right now. Thanks much, once more. I'm glad I did.
Huellif is working on another really great mod everyone is going to love. That is great. Looking forward to it. My phone has never been cleaner. I did have a look at the delight app. It has a delightful list of utilities and customizations which will make moving to a more restrictive OS even harder.
I'm a fan of Nokia's hardware, but the fact that WP 8 doesn't allow half as much stuff has kept me from moving. I blame Apple for starting this ever more restrictive trend. Rant over!!
By the way, I have a couple of questions. You mentioned that adobe reader and quick office are free now. Do you have a reputable link I can download them from? Those apps are on your mass memory. I would backup all my private data like music, pics, videos and documents from E and then format E, and then use the Delight app language changer, because the language changer runs the 5 phases Delight script again, without wiping your C, to get the dependencies on E back again.
Go to allaboutsymbian. Got them. I had forgotten about Steve's curated Symbian app store. Belated Christmas wishes and wish you a Happy New Year in advance. Hello Eric, I am facing some issues with volume when using headphones. Even at minimum volume, it is rather loud. Could you please let me know how I can get it down to normal volume?
Unable to continue. I bet my pants, that you are using the wrong Phoenix. Any chance you are using Followed all the steps to flash a Pureview and everything was working fine. Made all the way to the moment I press the Refurbish button. When I do that the process starts, I see a bunch of text flying and then it states something like server database loaded or similar and my laptop reboots. I'm using Windows 8. Anyone had the same issue? AV and FW disabled. Using Phoenix During the process the phone turns off.
I disconect it from USB cable and turn on the and everything is still as it was, so I assume the flashin process never started. I reboot my laptop, try to flash again and same result. Both times ran the app as administrator. Any help is welcome. I was updating because I have an anoying issue with camera where some times the camera just does not load properly with the official firmware version.
I have a problem. If you don't pull battery first , then you must reflash again. Same thing if you plug it back in to see if phoenix can finish it. D is "rfarhan gmail. It's Belle refresh. I have gotten a info this week that a user is going to send us his second c So Delight for it is planned , but not sure when it will be made yet. Update flash coming from Delight or refurbish coming from a different fw?
Just reinstall Whatsapp to the same drive over it again. It works fine here. I have heard a lot of people having problems with that. The Store Version is probably not up to date. Otherwise: is the Sim Card in the phone? Is the time and date of the phone set correctly? Please stop posting multiple times.
When I see the comments I will release them, otherwise I am busy at work or otherwise when I set blogger to release them automatically, the whole blog will be full of random spam posts. Hi eric, ok will do that and keep you posted, and am sorry its just that i bought this new nokia pure view and i got a bit hyper.
My music player is not able to update my library!! The player is not able to update the library like before ,can you please help? Rompatcher patches must be OFF to refresh library. Rompatcher patches OFF, Delight app MTP fixer, no hubs, sometimes computer front usb's are considered as hubs, fresh install of phoenix with antivirus and firewalls off, different usb cable Then the phone restarted and it was still on Belle Refresh.
I followed all the steps from this tutorial, what did I do wrong? Did you hook up the phone before flashing so the drivers get installed? I hard reset my phone before flashing and hooked it up once and connected to Nokia Suite so it installs support software, I did however get a message during the failed flashing that something called Nokia usb flashing parent was being installed.
Are those some kind of usb drivers needed for flashing? I thought if Phoenix recognized my device, which it did, that I was good to go. I guess you didn't wait long enough for all the driver's to install. Figured it out, had Phoenix installed with antivirus on and had connected to the front usb panel, corrected both of those issues and flashing successful, thank you sir! Excellent work btw! Here is my question.
I am trying to flash an E52 RM on windows7 and phoenix gives me the same error message all over:. Check USB connection Unable to get phone info from update server 0xF Unable to get phone information from Update Server Starting to recover the phone Recovering phone Initializing All operations completed Product flashing aborted.
If yes then it may be the reason also. So check if the USB cable is working or not. Did the instructions above worked on your Nokia e52? Please advise as I got an e52 with the same RM and want to try the method above. My phone is nokia asha Even i have tried dead usb flashing but there is also same problem.
There may be two reasons for your problem — 1. Nokia phone drivers are not installed in your computer — to solve this issue just install Nokia Suite software. After installation connect the phone with computer and see if it is detected 2. Phoenix is not installed properly — turn off Antivirus in your computer and then install Phoenix again.
