Pay stations accept credit cards or coins. You can purchase up to five single-ride or day pass tickets in one transaction. You do not need to tap your card again when you exit the train, at most stations; however, if you are boarding at Terry and Mercer northbound, you will need to tap your card when exiting at Lake Union Park or Fairview and Campus Drive. Purchase or refill a card.
You can use your smartphone as your ticket by purchasing a one using the Transit Go app. When you're ready to board, simply activate your purchased ticket and get on.
