State quarter errors washington
While searching a half tube of uncirculated Gettysburg D mint mark quarter I discovered an error coin. The L in Liberty is missing on one of them. I researched it and found none like it. Please tell me if I have something worth while.
I have a Denali National Park quarter, that has a raised bump on the Washington side taking in the word liberty. The back side is perfectly normal, has not been shot or damaged in anyway.

Also it may not mean anything but on the reverse side it has a burr on the lower half of the quarter. I believe I have a quarter error on the kisatchie quarter.
It appears that the grass below the bird is also on the obverse. And it is doubled on the reverse with a 90 degree rotation to the right.
I don't know if I am using the correct terms. New to this. I think I came across a P Hot Springs quarter that appears to be stamped in silver. I plan to send it in to be varified. Unfortunately, the ring that you are talking of is not an error, but rather a scratch mark left behind from a coin rolling machine. Most likely, your quarter was at the end of the roll when the machine crimped the paper sleeve around the roll of quarters. I have a Honestead P with a ring on the face which seems to match the inner ring on the reverse. None of my other Homesteads have this ring on the face.
If the coin you have was in fact struck on a presidential dollar planchet, you should immediately notice that the size of the coin will be much larger than a standard quarter. If the size is the same, the quarter could be missing clad layers. Either way you look at it, it definitely sounds like you have an error. I would recommend taking the the quarter to a reputable coin dealer in your area. They should be able to tell you a bit more about the quarter! Thanks for posting, and nice find.
I believe I have a Yosemite America the Beautiful D mint struck on a Presidential the brass looking one planchet! Does anyone know of another example and if so the worth? Have any errors occurred in the San Francisco quarters? Circulation S quarters exist, but have to be purchased. They are even lower mintages than the others, so an error coin might be worth more, since fewer migh exist. Let's hope the five ounce silver coins were minted with care. I collected the statehood quarters, but never was able to get the last few from the Denver mint.

I have a with worn letters in liberty the i is missing, and it says "in god w tru" the e in we is barly visable same with the st in trust. Havent seen any like this on coin errors. Smaller than a normal Quarter in diameter. It appears to have copper outside layers and a silver color metal running in the center. I found a quarter that has the face side on it. Only a the outside markings on the other side and what appears to be a press mark in the center you can only see the wings and the lettering on the coin.
