Love this place! From a casual stop by to get a yummy chocolate drink fix, or some scrumptious gifts, it always impresses. The owner is truly lovely and always makes the visit fun. I really enjoy the free samples and knowledge of local chocolatiers too. This place is a neighborhood gem. Superb selection of artisan truffles and chocolate bars, wines, and a lovely fresh and simple lunch menu. My husband and I have made this a weekend ritual with our 4-year-old daughter and we discover something new and wonderful each time.

Also a perfect place to buy gifts. Great service from the owner. Found exactly what I was looking for, a small gift of chocolate for a congrats gift. Cool spot and great coffee. The hardest part was NOT finding something to buy. It was trying to decide what I had to leave behind. Not only did I find some gorgeous labels and wonderful chocolates for me, but I also bought a few as gifts. I am in heaven! Their Euro Classic is like drinking heavenly rich Chocolate goodness.

Excellent little chocolate shop. Always a treat to come here. The proprietress welcomes us and gives us little tastes of the chocolate. Her hot chocolate is rich and velvety, today topped with fresh whipped cream and raspberry sugar.

Well Chocolat Vitale is like a coffee shop that serves chocolate from that river in many variations. Some too sweet, some perfectly sweet, some with just the right amount of bite. As we consumed a handful of truffles and drank a few cups of chocolate hot drinks — we were all buzzing from the sugar high followed by a sugar crash a few hours later. Amazing ambience, courteous and smiling host, mind blowing drinking chocolate and fab cappuccino!

I loved it the moment I walked through the door. Janet, the owner, is a savvy chocolatier, an artist, and has created along with her husband a very charming place. My husband had the chocolate raspberry drinking chocolate — super yum!

The shop is filled with wonderful chocolate for eating and drinking, cute handmade gifts and an owner who is a genuinely nice and friendly person. And, she knows her chocolate and coffee. Take a break from your busy, crazy day and stop in for a treat. The drinking chocolate is amazing! You can get it as light or dark as you want. Also serve small batch roasted coffee. Excellent customer service. Very friendly and also knowledgeable about the products they sell!

They also offer delicious chocolate bars in an affordable price range. Hands down the best drinking chocolate in town. Janet, the owner, also makes the place very welcoming, she has great creative flair for decorating so there is always something new…this place is a jewel in Seattle…. Thanks for making my holidays special with yummy chocolate! Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and a very merry Christmas! Not easy to find but so worth it. Four bucks a cup, and you get to pick the country where your chocolate is from.

This is not the tepid mud water from that huge Seattle Corp. They have the real deal fair trade and all. Hungry, why yes we were, oh man the homemade biscuit sandwiches inexpensive and very tasty.
