Check-in: from until How to reach hotel. Armand Hammer Museum ft. Museums Los Angeles ft. The bathroom was a dingy yellow color. Thankfully, the soap dispenser above the sink did have soap. So when it started getting dark and chilly, we asked the guy at the front desk if he could check on our heater. Especially something as essential as the heater. Or we could switch rooms. It was already late so we just took the extra blankets. My only complaint about them is that they are incredibly noisy whenever you move around on them.

Parking is a bit difficult because the Claremont Hotel does not have dedicated parking. The street parking immediately outside the Claremont Hotel is 5 minute loading zone parking. Also, the surrounding street parking is either metered or limited to 2 hours during the day time. I noticed that there were many cars out there who stayed parked in the same spot all day though.

This place is really cheap in comparison to many other options in the area. Just remember, you definitely get what you pay for. Felix S. The only reason why i gave this place 2 stars is because of the location the hotel is in and free Wifi.

Upon arriving i felt like i was in a movie, a scary movie that is. The place looks old from the outside and very plain on the inside. Can def use an upgrade. The price was ok but you def get what you pay for. I wasnt aware of this hotel only because my friend booked it for business he had up there and i was accompanying him. As we walked to our room i felt like someone was going to open a door and pull us in. The window curtains were white and stained.

NO TV in room. The window had no lock to secure us. Thank goodness we were on the second floor or else… the dresser was old and rundown including the vanity they provide. The chairs were ripped and stained. Everything about the room screamed murder scene. Lighting was outdated and old. The comforters had yellow stains. I felt like bugs were crawling on me but just because i felt dirty from being in that room.

You dont feel secure in the room with the lock on the door with a button u just push in the knob and bam have a secure peaceful night. All in all not a good place to stay. Oh yes the guy at front desk was very nice. Kevin C. In short, this hotel is what it is. I stayed here for two stays totaling about a week or so late last year. The rooms were spartan, basically clean a bit of dust, and I did spot a roach in the bathroom once , and not TOO uncomfortable.

Rosie P. No elevator so carry your luggage up three flights! No TVs in room! No Parking!!! None of this is on website. They claim it is family owned with nostalgic charm but rather it is slum lord operated! How on earth did this place pass disability code laws? A place I would have stayed in my 20 s or maybe have a sleezy affair but no place for business stays or a family!

A real one night gimmick money maker — I never thought I would find anywhere worse than Royal Palace hotel next door until now! Topher N. The department I was going into actually chose this place. The prices are pretty good for Westwood Village. From what I remember, it was only 60 to 80 dollars a night. You do get what you pay for. The room I stayed in was a bit dark but I also remember it being pretty okay. And, oh yeah, complimentary breakfast essentially just coffee and cereal, and maybe a few juices, if I remember correctly.

Lisa K. I stayed here while visiting the UCLA campus. This place is tiny and the majority of other guests appeared to be twentysomething student types as well. I really liked the Claremont. The furniture was obviously old but the bed was comfy and clean.
